Andrea finally replied to basically say she and Chuck were busy with THREE kids now – Zachary is two years old now, and they’re in White Rock and see her mom in Richmond occasionally. Talked to Phil briefly on Discord PM about Seattle wanting revenge on Vancouver tonight for the Tyler Myers hit on their rookie back in January. I had also forgotten that this happened, so I had to look it up when Phil asked what Myers had done, haha. “Just let the rookie skate around you and score – oh wait, I just saw the hit.” The Canucks played the Kraken at 7 tonight, and lost 5-2 with FOUR unanswered Seattle goals including an empty-netter. Of course we gave up another multi-goal lead, so we are the experts when it comes to that. Phil found that amusing.

Autism wasn’t mentioned and isn’t an excuse anyway, AND she’s probably a millennial.

I called Ironwood London Drugs customer service at 10:50 AM and came up empty on Batchelors Cream of Vegetable with Croutons soup, so that saved me some time and energy before I did some Ziploc bag organization. Then I decided to mail Julie some very old Vancouver postcards since I’m not mailing them out to anyone regularly, some Easter / Christmas / Halloween stickers (see how SHE likes getting out-of-season things), a birthday card, and a Chinese New Year red lucky money envelope in a self-sealing envelope. After SHOWER TIME, I went out at 2:35 on a 401 for Shoppers Drug Mart. Turns out I had to fill out an annoying online customs form at the post office for the “parcel” and the dollar sign wouldn’t go through – IT’S A FUCKING ENVELOPE, CANADA POST!

Eventually bought a NEW Softsoap White Tea and Berry hand soap refill bottle, Country Harvest Ancient Grains bread loaf expiring on April 18, and two Quo Beauty shower puffs or shower poufs before JUST managing to get the 407 bus home at 3:55 PM. Some jabronies at the Brighouse bus loop thought I shouldn’t bump into them – whatever! Then I found out that I had to get another Healthy Choices Grilled Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Simply Steamers at the Terra Nova Save-On Foods because Jon has scheduled Easter Monday 2023 LUNCH right when redrum is going to end. Went out AGAIN at 4:55 PM on a 401, accordingly. Another Healthy Choice Grilled Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Simply Steamers microwaveable meal expiring on June 1, 2024! Got home at 6 and talked to Phil on Discord PM about the WWF Bushwhackers guy dying and some other personal stuff. Auntie Bertha called me to say that I’d apparently given Erica the wrong phone number for white Eric, so after texting with him simultaneously, I finally figured out that I had a typo while accidentally calling him as I tried to edit the Samsung phone contact details. UGH!

The Canucks played the Kings at 5 today, and lost 4-1 against Los Angeles in a hockey game with an empty-net goal, and also where we were mathematically eliminated from the 2022-2023 NHL playoffs. On Discord PM, Phil said that the Flyers had gone on a small run before mathematical elimination from the playoffs, much like the Canucks. When we were officially eliminated from the playoffs during the game, I obviously let Phil know. Yep, some fans are never happy even with Tocchett choosing to use Demko for a better chance at winning!

I got away with free Western Family peanut butter x2 (light – February 9, 2024 / smooth – February 18, 2024), Old Dutch Foods Canada Smokey BBQ Ripple chips (May 26), Krinos Canada Athena sea salt x3 (February 17, 2027), a Country Harvest Everything bread loaf (April 15), on-sale Batchelors UK Cup-A-Soup boxes x2 (Tomato – September 2024 / Minestrone with Croutons – November 2024), a Campbell’s Chunky Creamy Thai Chicken and Rice soup can (January 6, 2025), a Campbell’s Chunky Soup Blazing Roadhouse Chili-Style Soup (August 24, 2024), and on-sale JOY dumplings x3.
