PAYDAY! DOUBLE COFFEE TIME! SHOWER TIME! I paid my Shaw and hydro bills online at home, and reloaded my Coinamatic laundry card at the lobby kiosk. Chrystal texted me at 9 AM to say she was still good for tonight – awesome! Ana the building manager texted me at 10:50 AM calling me by my first name, UNLIKE HESTER THE OLD MANAGER calling me by my LAST NAME TO MY FACE! She said that the glass company would be coming today to replace my bedroom window, and requested permission to enter. I said that I was glad to hear it, and yes, they had permission if I wasn’t home. Thanks for the cooperation, she said. I texted Harmony to ask about Ayler and Sudoku, and she said that Ayler isn’t so much into Sudoku anymore, so I guess I’ll think of something else for his birthday. The old man from the glass company knocked at 1 PM, was here for a couple of minutes to measure the window dimensions and take the broken window, and will come back next week. Talked to Phil briefly on Discord PM about his Toronto Maple Leafs fan friends saying that the 7-3 Tampa Bay win in Game 1 of the hockey Stanley Cup playoffs was all the referees’ fault. HA, WHAT AN EXCUSE!

After showering for tomorrow, I went out at 5:05 PM on a 401 and a 430 to meet Chrystal for her 2023 birthday at the Metrotown Chapters at 7:30 PM because I wanted to allow myself plenty of time to browse Chapters and other places. I had the Jelly Belly 40 Flavors of jellybeans, the President’s Choice Loads of Birthday Cake white chocolate candy bar, and her birthday card. Since I got to Metrotown at 6:30 PM, I was an hour early AGAIN and my phone was at 80% battery. When Chrystal got there, I gave her all the birthday candy first.

I tried out a NEW limited-time Al Pastor taco bowl from Chronic Tacos in the Metrotown food court and texted a photo to white Eric. It’s pork marinated in adobo and grilled with onions and pineapple, according to GVRoyale in HS Discord server. Chrystal had a Tim Horton’s chicken wrap while we talked about Emily, Mike, her nephew Ethan having glasses now, Jeremy’s health issues, white Eric’s family being more Covid-safe than I am, my still being generally safe with masks and hand sanitizer, my seeing my own nephews, seeing Steph despite the Hastings fire, her parents Lewis and Kathy wanting to go on a cruise, meeting her dad at Superstore, my spare masks, and her going to Coquitlam and dinner for her birthday last weekend. I got to the bus loop at 8:45 PM, caught the 430 at 9 PM (with an old man extrovert – SHUT UP!), and was home at 10:05 PM on a 401 with a 27% battery. It wasn’t too bad, but I did have to drink two cups of water since I didn’t get a beverage with my taco bowl.

A broken glass window instead of a stuck bedroom window?! Plywood for now?!

I decided to finally start using the Aesop beauty items from Erica and my September 2022 birthday: Aesop blue chamomile Facial Hydrating Masque x2, Aesop bergamot rind / chamomile bud / rosemary leaf Fabulous Face Cleanser x2, Aesop Resurrection rinse-free Aromatique hand mist (mandarin rind, rosemary leaf, and cedar atlas), Aesop Resurrection Aromatique hand balm (mandarin rind, rosemary leaf, and cedar atlas), Aesop Resurrection rinse-free Aromatique hand wash (mandarin rind, rosemary leaf, and cedar atlas) A white maintenance guy whom I’d never seen before came by at 9:50 AM to check my window and my bathroom ceiling. He finally came back at 2:55 PM and the Asian maintenance guy came by at 3:15. THEY BROKE MY WINDOW while trying to wriggle the glass free! Then they told me that they’d vacuum the glass shards and let Ana the manager know to call the glass company and then call or text me tomorrow.

I told white Eric, and he texted me to say that there are glass shortages so it could be a while, but the white guy said that the glass company could come as soon as tomorrow before they left at 4:05. I called the pharmacy next door at 4:25 PM to refill my prescription. They had everything in stock, so I first took a shower for tomorrow in case the glass company comes over. Then I left at 5:15 and was home at 5:20. Dad is stupid and thinks the maintenance guys vacuumed the whole apartment… *rolleyes*

The white maintenance guy and the Asian maintenance guy broke my window while trying to wriggle the glass out, so they’ll vacuum and let the manager know to call the glass company. For now, they’ll put plywood where the window used to be.

The professional glass company could come by as soon as tomorrow, despite glass shortages which white Eric was texting me about. For now, plywood is over the bedroom window.

I went out at 3:55 PM in the rainy weather to go to Vina Vietnamese for a spicy beef bowl, accidentally spilling my leftover soup on the tray and table. I got home at 4:45 on a 401, had to go out again in the rain, then had to change out of wet clothes.

Edit: The power flickered for a second with an awful sound at 8:50 PM. I had to reset my clocks and turn on my computer again. Ugh!

It leaked inside the bag because of some idiot almost sitting on MY bag on the 401 that I finally was able to take home at 6:30 PM! Got home and discovered that the Pittsburgh Penguins had missed the 2022-2023 NHL playoffs by THAT much, given that the New York Islanders had to win their hockey game tonight. I went to New York Fries at Richmond Centre on a 401 at 4:25 PM. Got a Sprite and a small butter chicken poutine for $10 (ten dollars), then got home at 5:45 on another 401. The bus driver said that the 401 would still stop at Brighouse next week after April 17, and the bus route was being changed to service the people in that faraway area. BRIGHOUSE IS A MAJOR STOP, TRANSLINK! GEEZ! The Canucks played Anaheim at 7 tonight in their penultimate game of the 2022-2023 NHL season in a game where Petey got his 100th point thanks to Boeser, and WON 3-2! THE 407 BUS ISN’T GOING TO GO ALONG WESTMINSTER AS OF NEXT WEEK?! WTF? WHAT THE HELL?! Some old guy in a wheelchair was RIGHT BEHIND me when I went into the elevator at Marine Drive Station and ONLY alerted me by saying “behind you,” so obviously I didn’t notice until he got into the elevator. He thought that I should move aside when I was already halfway into the elevator, being disabled myself. HAHAHAHA. *rolleyes* Nope, I’m faster than you AND some of us are in a hurry. He just said that I’d get run over if I did it again. Whatever. I did it twice and have no regrets. I told him that lines are a thing, AND that he was entitled and slow. He only went to Tim Horton’s and back up to the train area, anyway. I should have told him some other unsavory things! FUCK HIM. Dad did not impress me either, trying to mock my time to go to the bathroom before he dropped me off at King Edward Station afterwards, AND giving me unsolicited advice on peppermint oil and mice.

I showed Jon the text message legal document letter from Auntie Bertha, and as Eric and I thought, he said that VCEFC wasn’t really set up for sports memorabilia auctions. They aren’t United Gospel Mission with their actual estates division. Then I texted Eric about it while showing my nephews the avocado suit from Tsukiyo 月夜 – they don’t want to wear an avocado costume! Hiero showed me his Pokemon cards plus the binder and Rubik’s Cube while telling me a lot of hit points info and other special information, then Beckett wanted to play with his own Pokemon cards and DRAGONWOOD monster cards. He just likes the creatures and monsters. Ayler said that he could take some habanero pepper spice in his taco, which is good! We also played with dice, blue putty, and making “blue pancakes.” Later, I went to London Drugs and bought some stuff before finally getting home at 4:10 PM on a 407.

I talked to Phil on Discord PM about our low percentage lottery chances at Bedard as a draft pick (3-6%), the Flames being eliminated from the playoffs during the hockey game (Vancouver and Calgary have a rivalry comparable to his Flyers and the Penguins), Kirk McLean, and some other stuff.
